Meet Allen Peyghambarian, DDS and Victoria McVay, CEO
After serving in the Army from 2002 to 2006, Dr. Peyghambarian (Dr. P.) returned to Phoenix where he calls home and opened his own general dental practice with his wife Victoria. For over 14 years, Dr. P. has cared for thousands of patients.
While Dr. P. is no longer practicing dentistry after suffering from a severe back injury, he and his wife Victoria still own the practice. For several years now, Victoria has played a very active role as the CEO. As CEO, her focus is to ensure that the patients are not just a number. Further, she has been responsible for continuing the same dental care philosophy as Dr. P. which is to save their patient’s time and money. She also believes the patients deserve superior customer service and high-quality dental care.
Victoria has structured the family-owned practice so that all services are provided under one roof. This enables her to save the patient’s time and money. For example, when patients require root canals, most general dentists will send them to endodontists (specialists). So, when patients are referred out to specialists, it increases their out-of-pocket costs and can be very inconvenient for them. This is because the insurance providers will normally cover only 50% if the patient is treated by a specialist compared to 80% if they are treated by a generalist. Additionally, the patients are inconvenienced when having to make multiple appointments and must go to different locations for treatment. This however is not the case at Paradise Ridge Dentistry.
Victoria is the backbone of she and her husband’s family-owned practice and she requires her dental team to be committed to the same dental care philosophy. The entire team at Paradise Ridge Dentistry understands that the patients must come first and that they must be heard. She also plays an instrumental role in handpicking the associate dentists at Paradise Ridge Dentistry. These dentists are required to have extensive experience in providing general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
