Dr. Keyvan Jafari (Dr. Bobby) - Doctor of Dental Surgery D.D.S. - General Dentist
Dr. Bobby is very excited to be a part of the fantastic team at Paradise Ridge Family Dentistry. His focus has always been to provide great patient comfort and experience. He is very dedicated to providing you with the most modern and comprehensive approach to assessing your oral health condition using CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, and 3D printing.Â
He prides himself on providing you with as much information that you require to understand all aspects of your oral conditions, and any treatment options that are available to your individual needs. With precision and passion for dentistry, to shaping smiles and transforming lives one patient at a time, he truly enjoys forming lifelong relationships with his patients.
Dr. Bobby has lived in many countries around the world. He grew up in Toronto, Canada, and the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. In 2001, he made Arizona his new home. He graduated from Arizona State University in Biomedical Engineering. As a research and development engineer, he worked in the medical device industry designing, testing, and developing cardiovascular, orthopedic and surgical devices, to dental implants. Working with dental implants, he saw how smile transformations helped improve patients quality of life as well as their self-esteem, this made the transition seamless to pursue his passion of implant dentistry.
He went on to graduate from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, being one of a few graduates to receive advanced training in implant placement and implant prosthodontics during his final 2 years. He then followed up with a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, through New York University Langone Health at the Brighter Way Dental Center, gaining valuable knowledge performing complex dental treatments with mentorship alongside specialists ranging from cosmetic veneers, crowns, to full mouth rehabilitations, dental surgery, single-implants to full arch All-On-4 cases, overdentures, and endodontics.
Dr. Bobby has lived in the North Scottsdale community since 2006. He has volunteered 1000+ hours helping the greater Phoenix community at sites including CASS clinic, ASDOH, Arizona Mission of Mercy, to dental missions abroad in Mexico.Â
When he is not in the clinic, you can catch him trail running the McDowell Mountains with his blue heeler, enjoying time with family and friends, working on cars, cooking, and attending continuing education courses to be the most up to date and clinically equipped dentist he can be.
Steven Vorholt - Doctor of Dental Surgery Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology
I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and later moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend college. I graduated with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 2013.
Shortly after graduation I started a private practice in the Columbus area. Immersing myself in as much continuing education as possible, I eventually developed a great passion for dental implant surgery. In 2019 after 6 years of building a successful general practice in Ohio, I followed my passion and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to take a full time position with Implant Pathway.Â
In my time at Implant Pathway I rose to the positions of Chief Clinical Officer and Lead Instructor. I created and taught the content offered in courses such as Basic Implantology, Sinus Grafting, Full Arch Overdentures, Implant Complications, 3D Printing Surgical Guides and more. I also helped over 1,000 dentists place over 12,000 implants in my time at Implant Pathway. I managed all follow ups and complications with the team at New Horizon Institute, and was also a lead faculty member for the NYU AEGD at the clinic. One of my proudest professional accomplishments was the fostering of new and seasoned implant dentists through their own pathway with dental implants.Â
In 2021 I received my Diplomate in the American Board of Oral Implantology. This distinction requires that a surgeon pass a written board exam and defend 10 surgical cases to an oral exam committee, as well as fulfilling over 800 CE hours directly about dental implant therapy. In 2022 I received my Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and was asked to present at the AAID Annual Conference for two different workshops and lectures. I lecture nationally on all topics of dental implants and love to partake in CE from other great educators whenever given the chance.
In late 2022 I decided it was time to re-enter private practice. I now offer my surgical skillset and mentoring mindset to practices and doctors throughout the Greater Phoenix area where I enjoy the variety of procedures and offices I get to visit providing care throughout the valley.
