Teeth Whitening
Sometimes referred to as bleaching, a total smile makeover can include teeth whitening to remove stains and shade correction. Whether you’re dealing with coffee stains, discoloration from ageing, or just want a confidence boost, teeth whitening can make a dramatic difference. We customise the shade to complement your skin tone and facial features, so your teeth look naturally bright and not artificially white.
Dental Veneers
Veneers are ultra-thin shells and custom-made to fit your teeth. They attach to the front side of the teeth and can cover yellow/stained and chipped/damaged teeth. If teeth are mildly misaligned or uneven, veneers can also give the appearance of a straighter smile.
Dental Bonding
If you have chipped teeth or gaps, particularly on the front teeth that look bad when you smile, dental bonding can help you cover those minor imperfections. With a tooth-colored composite resin, we repair chips, fill gaps, and correct discoloration in a single appointment.
Dental Implants
If you have missing teeth, over time, they can alter your bite, cause neighboring teeth to shift out of position, and even lead to bone loss in the jaw. Dental implants provide long-term replacement for missing teeth that looks natural.
We begin by surgically placing a metal post into your jawbone, and over time your bone naturally grows around it, providing a strong and stable base for a missing tooth. Once fully healed, a custom crown is attached on top that looks like your natural teeth and restores the patient’s full ability to chew comfortably.
Dental Crowns
If there is extreme decay or damage to the tooth, it can be treated and covered by a dental crown. It covers the tooth entirely, restoring the tooth’s shape and strength to bite. This is commonly known as the tooth cap.
Clear Aligners
Cleaning around crooked or crowded teeth is hard and also makes your smile look unattractive. Unlike traditional orthodontic appliances, clear aligners are almost invisible. They are transparent, plastic trays that gradually shift misaligned teeth into the correct position. Book your visit at Paradise Ridge Family Dentistry for a comfortable treatment experience.
Dental Bridges
If you are missing more than one tooth in a row, a dental bridge is used to fill the gap. The treatment involves altering the surrounding teeth so the replacement tooth can use them for support. It enhances your natural appearance and restores a full smile.
Gum Contouring
Gum contouring is a simple yet effective way to correct a gummy smile. By reshaping or correcting the uneven gumline, the appearance of your smile can be enhanced manyfold.

How Long Does a Smile Makeover Take?
Depending on the series of procedures, the makeover can take from one appointment to more. However, if the aim is to quickly fix small issues and restore a bright smile, it can be done pretty quickly in one or two appointments.
If you only require simple dental procedures like whitening, a few appointments are sufficient. Contrarily, if your case is moderate to complex, like alignment issues, it can take several months.

What Happens During a Smile Makeover
The process of aesthetic smile reconstruction varies for each person. We recommend treatments as per your needs and goals. The first step is always a consultation.
Digital scans, photos, and x-rays are taken on the first visit to determine the problem. We will brief you about your current situation and create a treatment plan accordingly.
The number of sittings you need for your smile restoration depends on what treatment you’re getting. For instance, dental whitening takes only one sitting. However, gum contouring, bonding, and veneers can take up to three sittings. Similarly, implants and aligners require regular follow-up appointments.
Where treatments require it, anesthesia is used to keep you comfortable throughout. In the follow-up appointment, we make sure everything looks natural. In addition, you must follow the dentist’s instructions for aftercare and best results.
