Meet Beth

Beth grew up in rural Illinois. She went to Augustana College to start her career in dentistry after her brother, who is a MaxioFacial Surgeon, suggested it while she was still in high school. Beth graduated from Greys Lake college with a degree in Dental assisting and worked as a certified dental assistant for ten years. Her passion for dentistry grew so she enrolled at Phoenix College to complete her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Over the past 34 years, Beth still enjoys interacting with her patients and promoting good oral health so that they live healthy lives. When asking Beth what she would like to change in dentistry, her comment is, “If I could make changes in dentistry, I would encourage the ADA to allow hygienists here in Arizona, to become expanded function Dental Therapists.” She desires to help the underprivileged fight against dental disease.

Meet Christal

Christal was born and raised in Arizona. She has a certificate in dental assisting and a certificate in early childhood development. She has been in the dental field for three years now. What Christal finds most rewarding about her job is helping her patients feel comfortable when visiting the dentist. While Christal is away from the office she loves being around animals, shopping, singing karaoke, and having fun with her family and friends.

Meet Alex

Alex was born in California but grew up in South Tucson, AZ. He is one of our Spanish speaking team members. Alex earned his assistant certification from Carrington college and has been assisting for five years now. Alex found his way into dentistry after his attempts at being a pro boxer. Alex always has a cheerful grin on his face because he truly enjoys working with the patients and his co-workers.

Meet Gianna

Gianna is an Arizona native and is from Glendale, AZ. She has been working in the dentistry for four years now. Gianna is currently majoring in music performance and minoring in psychology, and she speaks Spanish fluently. Gianna originally began working in the medical field (urology) and then decided to change her career path to the dental field because she thought it was more interesting. She is glad she made the change because she loves helping patients who are fearful of dentistry. Her down-to-earth and bubbly personality really helps her patients relax when they’re in the dental chair.

 

Meet Danielle

Danielle is originally from Chicago, IL. She has been working for Paradise Ridge Dentistry and in the dental field for almost a year now. She found dentistry to be appealing because of its necessity and she likes to meet the many interesting people. When asked in what way could Danielle make a difference in the lives of others, she responded that she would improve healthcare. Specifically, dental care because so many people avoid proper dental care due to poor dental coverage.

Meet Jalena

Jalena was born in Cincinnati, OH but she has lived in Phoenix, AZ for most of her life. She has a degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. While still fairly new to the dental industry, Jalena finds it a great fit for her. She chose dentistry because it is more focused compared to the medical field. She finds meeting the patients and helping them very rewarding. When asked what she could change about healthcare if given the opportunity, “I would require insurance companies to offer higher coverages so patients could afford their dental work a little easier.” states Jalena.

Meet Victoria

Victoria, a third generation native of Arizona holds an M.P.A. from the University of Maryland College Park, a B.A. from The University of Arizona, and an Associates degree in Fashion Design from Emily Dickens School of Fashion Denver, CO. With over a decade working in the dental field, Victoria steers the ship at Paradise Ridge Dentistry. Her specialty, incorporating new strategies to keep the practice on the cutting edge and orchestrating a very talented dental team, is what makes the practice run so smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys interior design, traveling off the beaten path, skiing, and doing anything that is adventurous. Tori has a great love of nature and spends her time away from work with her husband, and two boys and their dog Bogart. Their favorite things to do are fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
