Community Involvement
August 19, 2020 - Code Red Water Drive
November 1 – 5, 2018 – Halloween Cash For Candy Exchange
Bring your wrapped Halloween candy to our store and receive $1 per pound. We will weigh the candy and send a check in the mail. This is a great opportunity for schools to earn money for their PTOs!
You can find more information about this event on our Facebook Events Page.
We collected over 1000 pounds of candy last year, which was donated to Operation Gratitude. Operation Gratitude is a non-profit that sends care packages to troops overseas, veterans, first responders, and their families. This is a small way to let them know that we are thinking about them.
January 31, 2018 – Onesie Night At PRD
November 1 – 10, 2017 – Cash For Candy Buy Back for Operation Gratitude
Would you like to earn some extra money for a great cause? We invite you to help your community and prevent cavities at the same time by donating your wrapped Halloween candy this year. You will receive $1 for every 1 lb. of candy you donate. Your candy will be shipped to Operation Gratitude to be sent to our U.S. military. This is a great way to cheer up our American heroes by sending them candy and letters from kids.
This is the third year we have participated in this campaign. In 2016, we collected 356 lbs. of Halloween candy and donated it to Operation Gratitude. In 2017, we collected 900 lbs. of candy from kids, friends, and schools. We look forward to seeing what occurs next year.

July – August 2017 – Operation Smile Wide toothbrush donation for Operation Gratitude Ron Wolfley announces Operation Smile Wide on Arizona Sports.
Our staff members donned their onesies and competed for the best dressed award. We created a poll on Facebook for people to vote for their favourite outfit. The winner gets to choose their favourite charity to receive a $100 donation from Paradise Ridge Dentistry.
We are asking our patients to book appointments and return their toothbrush kits during the months of July and August. The toothbrushes will be donated to Operation Gratitude and sent to our U.S. Military troops and first responders.
Our U.S. Military troops and first responders need many hygiene items, and we are asking patients to donate their toothbrushes so they can participate in the campaign. Along with the toothbrushes, we will take pictures of the patients holding their toothbrushes and ask them to write brief letters to the U.S. Military troops.
We have made giving back an easy experience for patients to touch the hearts of our U.S. Military by including a personal photo, handwritten letter, and a toothbrush kit. Handwritten letters are the most cherished items by our troops.
Book an appointment with us today to help put a smile on someone’s face.
Who is Operation Gratitude
Operation Gratitude is a 505(c)(3) organisation that was established in 2003. It collects various items such as hygiene products, food, handwritten letters and entertainment to assemble into care packages. These care packages are then distributed to Wounded Heroes and their caregivers, U.S. service members who are deployed overseas and their families, new recruits, Veterans, and First Responders.
Operation Gratitude provides Americans opportunities to lift the spirits and honour those who serve our nation.
Since 2003, over 1,600,000 care packages have been shipped on behalf of Operation Gratitude volunteers.
They also need other hygiene products – click on their logo to see a list of other items needed.
April 2, 2016 – Oral Cancer Walk For Awareness
Join the Paradise Ridge Dentistry team at the Phoenix Zoo for the Oral Cancer Walk For Awareness. This is a great way to help spread the word about oral cancer and get people involved in the fight against it.
The walk includes an all-day pass to the Phoenix Zoo, and if you register by March 9th, you’ll also get a free t-shirt. You can also choose to become an Oral Cancer Foundation Fundraiser, which is a great way to donate to the charity if you’re unable to participate in the walk.
This year’s goal is $20,000. Let’s help them reach it! Click here to learn more about oral cancer screening and how you can help raise awareness in your community.
