Composite Filling - Tooth Coloured
Are you worried a filling will stand out when you smile? We offer tooth-colored resin composite fillings that blend seamlessly into your smile because they are an exact match of your natural enamel.
Decayed teeth have cavities that are easily detected during routine teeth cleaning appointment. The solution is most popular composite teeth filling in Phoenix.
With a natural finish, it require less drilling, which preserves more of the healthy tooth, and work well for both front and back teeth. The average cost of composite fillings in Phoenix ranges from $150 to $500. Reach out to our team, and we will walk you through exactly what your treatment would cost. Glass Ionomer Fillings
Glass ionomer fillings have a hidden benefit that they slowly release fluoride directly into your mouth for months or years and generally last around 5 years. That ongoing fluoride exposure strengthens the enamel and prevents decay in the future, and generally costs $100 to $300 per tooth.Â
Because the material is softer, we don’t use it on the grinding surfaces of adult molars. It’s a strong choice for cavities below the gumline, small fillings on the side of a tooth, fillings in baby teeth, and as a base layer under a larger restoration.
Amalgam (Silver) Filling
If you are looking for a strong, durable yet affordable dental filing, this is for you. While amalgam fillings don’t match the color of natural enamel and are more visible than tooth-colored options, they typically last 15 years or longer. With good oral hygiene, some can last 25 years or more and cost only $50 to $300 per cavity.Â
They can handle heavy biting pressure better than any other direct filling material. Due to their exceptional strength and longevity, we recommend them for deep cavities in molars.
Gold Fillings
Gold is one of the longest-lasting filling materials available, with an expected lifespan of 20 to 30 years. It is often placed as an inlay and onlay in case of severe decay or structural damage. It’s gentle on the opposing tooth, doesn’t corrode, and stands up to grinding without cracking.
As they are more visible, many patients choose it for back molars, where the strength and durability of the material matter more than appearance. The average cost range of gold fillings in Phoenix is around $400 to $1500 per tooth without insurance. Book a personal appointment with our dental expert and receive a personalized cost estimate.

Ceramic (Porcelain) Fillings
Ceramic fillings are the premium aesthetic option, which costs between $500 to over $1500 and is ideal for patients who want a natural-looking, durable restoration. For these restorations, we use the same high-quality dental porcelain that is used to craft veneers and crowns. It resists staining from beverages far better than tooth-coloured fillings.Â
We typically use these fillings for more visible teeth, as they can’t handle heavy biting pressure. Each ceramic restoration is custom-milled to fit your tooth precisely, often in a single visit using CAD/CAM technology. Ceramic fillings are one of the most reliable options for restoring damaged teeth, as they can last up to 15 years or longer with excellent oral care.
